We were joined by Carl Hess, Head of Investment, Risk and Reinsurance at Willis Towers Watson, to discuss the major risks and potential rewards within the insurance industry in 2019. Also considered are the major themes emerging from the World Economic Forum so far, including infrastructure and sustainability.

Political tensions, climate change and the negative effects of technology are among the biggest challenges facing global society. Ahead of its global meeting in Davos, the World Economic Forum has produced its global risk report for 2019. From climate change to cybercrime, the document looks to identify the greatest risks facing the economy and society canvassing experts from around the globe.
