<p><strong>Speaker 0</strong>: <span>well in the last 15 odd years that I've spent dealing with environmental claims, I found that initially there were lots of gaps in the cover between property and liability losses. Now these have presented as opportunities for a lot of insurers and MGAS to fill those gaps in cover,</span></p> <p><strong>Speaker 0</strong>: <span>and they're now looking at ensuring that those are being managed properly so I can use our global team to make sure that we get the right expert in the right place to help them.</span></p> <p><strong>Speaker 0</strong>: <span>Well, I continue to see fires being a main source of environmental claims. The fact that the fire brigade turn up and spread a load of water on a on a fire. Quite often it washes off and then causes the pollution from that. We've still got pollution from fossil fuels, oils and that kind of scenario, and we've also now got the new sustainable fuels, which are good because it reduces the company's carbon footprint</span></p> <p><strong>Speaker 0</strong>: <span>that still causes environmental damage if they're spilled. There's also responsibility now that the government are enforcing regarding biodiversity and including that with a lot of the new developments, and I suppose if they had to add 1/4 we've now got the businesses that are being required as far as the ESG is concerned. So that's environmental, social and government. So when they're looking at that, it's how that really impacts on their image</span></p> <p><strong>Speaker 0</strong>: <span>and also on their share value. Now to provide that service brokers are becoming more knowledgeable about the need for environmental insurance. And there's also the fact that a lot of the insurers and a lot of the global brokers are looking at climate risk and the impact that that has on companies as well.</span></p>
